There is currently a 1963 Electron Minor on ebay, this one was advertised on there last year, not sure why it is for sale again but looks to be a good project car from the pictures.

Hi Martin, just a quick note to let you know myu father and I are the new owners of 403 MOO.
ReplyDeleteSuffice to say the hard top is rather....unorthodox and has been fastened to the body. Fear not for it will be carefully removed and the car returned to soft top originality (Soft top was NOT included in the sale despite the listing so if you or anyone reading this knows where a pattern could be obtained we can fashion a new one).
I must say however that the hardtop was extremely well made and fitted so maybe we can find a way to make it usable as a removable.... time will tell.
Anyway any history or information you know of would be gratefully received.
All the best,
Phil Whitmore & Roy Whitmore
Congratulations on becoming Fairthorpe owners, i am sure you will get a lot of pleasure from the car once rebuilt. Please keep me updated on your progress with pictures and i will put them on the blog if that is ok with you. If you need any parts i can supply you with details of where they are best obtained. It would also be worth joining the Fairthorpe Sports Car Club, there is a link in the sidebar on this site. My email address is kartman.nascar24@btinternet.com if you want to have more of a chat about Fairthorpes. If you can supply me with the chassis number i will look in my records and can give you more info on your car. All the best.......Martin
